These polarizing cube beamsplitters utilize a special coating which is designed to separate the s- and
p- components at a particular wavelength. UV Fused Silica prisms are used as a substrate for the coating. Anti-reflection coatings are applied to the outer faces. The prisms are optically contacted to reduce the chance of laser damage from high power lasers.
These are suitable for use with doubled argon, tripled and quadrupled Nd: YAG and excimer lasers.
